The little things are the ones that matter most, at least this is what I was thinking about a few days ago.
I've started experimenting with macro photography lately and I must admit it's not that easy as I thought. From a technical point of view, there are many challenges - the eternal lack of light, the extreme depth of field and the huge amount of patience required even for the simplest shots. From an artistic point of view, things aren't much better either. I guess the same rules apply as well, but I've found myself completely disoriented.
Yet, the results are quite pleasing. Colour simplicity also seems to be easier to achieve with macros - somehow, the "little things" don't seem to have that many colours; the backgrounds aren't that busy and crowded any more.
