I have neglected the photography section for a few weeks, one of the main reasons being the fact that I'm a bit reluctant of writing descriptions. Nevertheless, I really want to stick with this "custom" - a textual description can provide further insight regarding a photo, especially with regard to what I want express.
This started to become annoying. Although GIMP has some very nice features and can be considered a real candidate to Photoshop, some of them can be quite hard and counter-intuitive to use. One of them would be the ability to paste a layer inside a layer mask - or in other words use another layer as a layer mask.
Haunted by this story for weeks, I must admit that this book managed to make me feel more alive and aware of my surroundings. It started out as something normal, a story encapsulated very well in borders of the reality - but as the story progressed, it started to run into the fantasy realm.
